So are you really a teacher?

Yep.

Is the strip autobiographical?

Sort of. I'm a bald guy and a new father who teaches, and my wife coaches P.E. Other than that, the only consistently true-to-life things about the comic are that the kids are wiser, and funnier than me.

How do you create the strip?

I draw it with pencil inside pre-printed frames, then ink it over with drafting pens of various thicknesseseseses. I then scan it into Photoshop to color and shade it.

How long have you been drawing comics?

I've drawn for as long as I can remember. As far as comics go, I've been doing them for about ten years, but it was only recently that I started having legitimately humorous ideas to go along with the drawings. Took me a while to get past puns, and trying to be Gary Larson or Bill Watterson.
